I thought I’d film while I did some calligraphy practice. I still have a long way to go but it’s fun to practice and hopefully, I’ll actually start to improve. If you want to practice your calligraphy, grab your supplies and join me. You can use the worksheets below or, for a little more instruction, try skillshare. You can get 1 month free and try hand lettering, and find tons of calligraphy classes taught by people much more experienced than me.

What is Calligraphy?

So I’ve definitely used calligraphy and hand lettering interchangeably in the past but they’re actually different. Hand lettering is the art of drawing letters in any style. Calligraphy is the art of writing letters with pressure-sensitive tools, usually in a script style.
